An Inconvenient Truth
I personally loved this documentary by Al Gore. I've always had some interest in global warming but never knew much about it and why it was such a big deal, but Al Gore made me realize why this climate change is very important. I recall Gore showing the graph where the CO2 levels in the atmosphere had never passed 300 and he then showed how we are far above the 300 mark and the CO2 level are still expected to rise even higher. This stuck out to me the most because of the impact this situation will cause if it is not fixed. If the continues, the atmosphere will thicken and the earth will become extremely hot cause glaciers and land where there is only ice to melt. With so much melting, the sea levels will rise and the outer parts of our countries land will be covered in water such as Florida. This really stuck out to me because it will take the life of millions of people who live in these places. Also, I've always wanted to live in Florida because it's such a beautiful place and there are great sites there as well, and to hear that parts of Florida will be covered in water just makes me wonder if I actually want to live in Florida now. Also, with the atmosphere getting thicker, we wont be able to live on Earth anymore because it wont be in living condition, it will get too hot and us humans wont be able to take it. With the Earth having no more humans, we will have just ended the entire humanity and as far as we know, we will have ended life in the whole universe.
